Every NFL pass catcher wants the opportunity to work with an elite quarterback in their career.

One player who was drafted into the perfect situation for that was former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

In 2010, Gronk was drafted by the Patriots right at the peak of Tom Brady’s career.

Those two went on to dominate the NFL for many years to come, establishing themselves as one of the best QB/TE duos in NFL history.

Now as both are retired, they can think back on all the great moments and seasons they had together.

One stat is still mind-blowing to Gronkowski.

He joined “Up & Adams” and talked about how his 105 touchdowns receptions from Brady is his “most mind-blowing stat.”

That number includes both regular season and postseason touchdowns.

Gronk played 11 NFL seasons, all of which were with Brady.

He caught 10+ touchdowns in five different seasons.

But his career high was set in 2011 when he had 17 touchdowns.

When you look at both players, these two had completely different personalities off the field.

Yet, when they played together everything seemed to mesh perfectly.

Gronkowski admitted in his interview with Kay Adams that stats were never the main priority.

The most important thing for them was winning and they did plenty of that.

Gronk and Brady won four Super Bowls together and had countless other winning seasons.

This QB/TE duo set the precedent in the NFL and looks like one that will never be replicated again.
