A few members of the Dallas Cowboys roster recently took the term “high-flying” to a new level.
Before their preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks, three Cowboys were seen in a small plane piloted by Brandin Cooks.
As shared by Cooks via Yahoo Sports, he took Micah Parsons and Stephon Gilmore to the skies.

While this might have been a cause for concern among their coaching staff, Cooks is a licensed pilot.
It appears he’s skilled in more than the football field, and his teammates were beneficiaries of this ability.
Cooks might be a new addition to the Cowboys roster, but if he keeps this up, he might become one of the most popular players on the team.
He can do significantly more than fly planes and will be looked to as a solid target option for Dak Prescott.
Cooks spent the last three seasons with the Houston Texans and is coming off a year with 57 receptions, 699 yards, and three touchdowns.
If he’s able to match those numbers, he’ll be an instant threat in an offense that has been seeking additional playmakers.
CeeDee Lamb has quickly become a favorite target for Prescott, but he can’t do it all by himself.
Having a player of Cooks’ caliber will take pressure off Lamb, giving both players a better opportunity for success.
Lamb saw 156 targets in 2022, nearly 30% of the offense’s entire target share.
He is still slated to be a massive part of the offense but will be assisted by Cooks to be more efficient with his targets.
