Chris Paul and Kobe Bryant never got to play alongside each other on the same NBA team.

But they still became friends.

Years after Bryant’s passing, Paul is still very close with his family.

A video shared by Vanessa Bryant, via ClutchPoints, shows Paul playing around with Bryant’s daughter, Bianka.

The wholesome, genuine moment is very heartwarming and sweet and would definitely make Bryant happy.

In the video, Paul and Bianka are playing a friendly game where one tries to slap the top of the other’s hands.

It’s a simple game that brought a lot of joy to young Bianka.

Paul also seemed to have a blast playing.

Bryant and Paul went head-to-head many times on the court, often as the two most competitive players on the floor.

For years, fans were hoping they’d have a chance to play together.

And for one brief moment, it looked like they might.

In one of the most talked-about NBA moments ever, Paul was initially set to play for the Los Angeles Lakers after leaving the New Orleans Hornets.

But due to the tricky nature of the Hornets at the time, the NBA shot down any plans of Paul playing for the Lakers.

The deal was denied and Paul ended up moving to the Clippers instead.

Ever since that botched deal, people have wondered what it would have been like had Bryant and Paul been on the same team.

It is nice to see that even years after his passing, Bryant is still beloved by players and friends.

It is also nice to see his family is just as beloved.
