Pat McAfee Makes Massive Prediction For Aaron Rodgers This Season

The New York Jets got a massive blow when Aaron Rodgers fell with an injury just four plays into his first drive with the organization.

And while Zach Wilson has done a decent job of holding down the fort in his absence, it’s not a secret that they don’t stand much of a chance to win a Super Bowl with him as Rodgers’ replacement.

Lately, however, there has been a lot of buzz about Rodgers potentially coming back from an Achilles injury this very same season.

When asked about that, his friend Pat McAfee said on ESPN’s “First Take” that he actually thinks that’s possible.

McAfee admitted that he thought Rodgers wasn’t thinking clearly when he told him that he would come back sooner than anybody in history, stating that it could’ve been the meds talking.

But after watching him walk with no crutches and entering the Jets building just 30 days after undergoing that surgery, he now thinks it’s an actual possibility.

McAfee adds that Rodgers coming back would be one of the greatest accomplishments in modern medicine and sports history, and Rodgers has made it clear that he’s not going to abide by anybody else’s timeline.

The fact that Rodgers is 39 years old would only make this all even more impressive.

And while we could still be some time away from that, there are 12 weeks left in the regular season for him to try and get back on the field, assuming the Jets are still in playoff contention by then.
