Stephen A. Smith Claps Back At Tyreek Hill’s Criticism

The Miami Dolphins currently have the most explosive offense in the NFL.

Tyreek Hill has been even more electrifying than he was last season, and that’s a lot to say.

Recently, Stephen A. Smith stated that Tua Tagovailoa is pitching the football two yards to Hill, and he’s doing all the hard work, which seems kind of unfair.

That’s why Hill took offense to his comments and called him out on his podcast, stating that he might not have been watching the Dolphins as of late because most of his receptions were from 25 or 30 yards out, adding that they don’t even have routes for two-yard slants or something like that.

Smith had to go out of his way and even started Friday’s edition of “First Take” with that clip from Hill, stating that he shouldn’t take things literally.

He said that Tua is obviously a legitimate MVP candidate and that his comments weren’t supposed to be a shot at him by any means.

Instead, he wanted to point out how great Hill has been by exaggerating and stating that he could get the football two yards away from the line of scrimmage and still take it all he way to the end zone.

Smith jokingly said that it was the first time a player who he considered to be the best in the world called him out for praising him.

Of course, Smith often goes out of his way and gets lost in his rants, so players perhaps shouldn’t take his comments literally.
