The Miami Dolphins have created one of the most potent NFL offenses in recent memory.

By signing Tyreek Hill and drafting Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins have demonstrated what a top-tier receiving pair can look like.

This offense has not only caught fire, averaging 34.7 points per game, but they have caught the attention of their NFL counterparts as well.

After their matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles, Darius Slay called out Hill and Waddle in a recent podcast via The Volume.

He highlighted their speed and athleticism, calling the pair “Charged-up Teslas.”

Slay is one of the quickest defensive backs in the league and had his hands full when guarding this dynamic duo.

He also said, “I’m fast, but these guys here are fast fast.”

Slay is not afraid to recognize when his competition performs well, a growing trend throughout the league.

Hill and Waddle create a matchup nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators.

Both are speedy options that can make a play at a moment’s notice and as a result, teams cannot double-cover one in favor of the other.

Hill is a downfield receiving threat, while Waddle tends to have shorter yardage catches, which he quickly turns into double-digit yardage gains.

With Tua Tagovailoa continually evolving as a passer, both players have significant in-game opportunities to make an impact for the Dolphins.

Their defense might not be as potent as they wanted heading into the season, but if they keep scoring over 30 points per game, the Dolphins will continue to be a tough out.
