Joy Taylor Says Sunday Is A ‘Must-Win’ For 1 AFC Contender

The Los Angeles Chargers have started the season differently than many expected.

Some anticipated them to give the Kansas City Chiefs a run for the AFC West title, while others had already penciled them in for a playoff spot.

However, with a record of 2-4, the Chargers now find themselves on the outside looking in.

If they want any chances of making the playoffs, winning games over the next several weeks is imperative.

That starts with the Chicago Bears in Week 8, a game that Joy Taylor recently described as a must-win for the Chargers.

“Chaos will ensue if they lose to the Bears,” Taylor said on “Speak” on FS1.

Head coach Brandon Staley has received significant criticism throughout the year.

He has been said to be on the hot seat for the Chargers’ lack of success and his questionable play-calling, at times.

One of the main reasons that fans doubt him is his propensity to go for it on fourth down, even in situations where the Chargers could settle for a field goal.

As Taylor mentioned, while the Bears aren’t exactly one of the NFL’s best teams, they cannot take this game lightly.

If the Chargers come into this game with a mindset that the Bears are a bad team and that they will win with ease, it could spell trouble for this team, and more importantly, for their playoff chances.

The Bears are coming off a statement win over the Las Vegas Raiders, their second win in three weeks.

Can they upset the Chargers this week?
