The 2023 NFL season has turned out to be another forgettable year for the Denver Broncos, as the addition of head coach Sean Payton hasn’t done much to get this storied franchise back on the right track, which has resulted in the team having a fire sale of sorts ahead of the NFL trade deadline on October 31.

The Broncos know they aren’t going anywhere this season and, as a result, have started to clean house by parting ways with players that may have enough left in the tank to contribute to over the teams in the league.

One of those players is defensive end Frank Clark, who was released by the Broncos earlier this month after Denver failed to trade the veteran pass rusher.

Fortunately for Clark, the Seattle Seahawks were more than willing to bring him back into the fold with a need at the position.

Clark began his NFL career with the Seahawks back when the team brought him in with the No. 63 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, and head coach Pete Carroll believes it will be a seamless transition for him in Seattle, via Brady Henderson of ESPN.

As a three-time Pro Bowler, Clark’s best days in the NFL in terms of team success came with the Kansas City Chiefs, as he won two Super Bowl titles with the team before signing with the Broncos in June.

As for individual success on the field, Clark excelled with the Seahawks to begin his career, as he had 9.0 sacks or more during his last three seasons with the team from 2016 to 2018.

He racked up a career-best 13.0 sacks with the Seahawks during the 2018 NFL season.
