SRINAGAR: A female tourist from West Bengal died in the Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday, officials said.
She was found unconscious in Pahalgam following which she was shifted to PHC Pahalgam, they added. “She has been identified as Bandana Auddy (60) wife of Anjan Auddy resident of West Bengal. On her arrival at the health care facility, she was declared dead.”
Meanwhile, further proceedings have been initiated in this regard. (KS)
