Nick Wright Says AFC Contender Is ‘Poorly Coached’

Coming into the 2023 NFL season, the Buffalo Bills were expected to be a heavyweight in the AFC once again, with Josh Allen and company potentially having one of the best offenses in the league while also having a formidable defense.

Even though the Bills are playing in an AFC East division that was projected to be one of the toughest in the league, Buffalo was still a team many believed could go the distance this season, as long as Allen was healthy and motivated.

Unfortunately, the Bills have to be one of the hardest teams in the league to read right now, as there’s no telling what kind of team will come running out of the tunnel on any given Sunday this season.

At times, the Bills have looked like the league’s elite team, like when they crushed the division-rival Miami Dolphins, but then there are other times when they look painfully mediocre or flat-out bad.

After getting the best of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday Night Football, the Bills are sporting a 5-3 record, but Nick Wright of FOX Sports believes the team is poorly coached and that this team won’t be contending for a Super Bowl title this year, via “First Things First.”

Outside of three wins this season against the Dolphins, Las Vegas Raiders, and Washington Commanders, the Bills could’ve easily lost their five other games, which is pretty telling in terms of their hopes of being a contender moving forward.

The coaching is definitely suspect at this point, as it is unclear whether this team can truly contend with the best of the best in the league.
