The Dallas Cowboys, after winning three of their first four games in dominant fashion, stumbled in Week 5 against the San Francisco 49ers in a 42-10 loss, causing some to think they weren’t Super Bowl contenders.

They responded with a tight win over the Los Angeles Chargers the following week, but on Sunday, they may have regained their mojo with a 43-20 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Quarterback Dak Prescott completed 25 of 31 passes for 304 yards and four touchdowns, and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb had 12 catches for 158 yards and two touchdowns.

It caused Chris Broussard to say on “First Things First” that the Cowboys had brought their “A-game” versus L.A.

Not only did Dallas play very well offensively, but their defense also had a good day.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford went just 13 of 22, and cornerback DaRon Bland had a pick-six late in the first quarter that turned a competitive game into a blowout in progress.

In fact, it was Bland’s third interception return for a touchdown this season, and it has been greatly needed by a Cowboys team that lost corner Trevon Diggs for the season due to a torn ACL after Week 2.

Still, the team has plenty of work to do in order to prove it is a true championship contender given its early playoff failures in recent years.

Dallas will visit the Philadelphia Eagles, the defending NFC champions who have a 7-1 record, this coming Sunday, and a win there would serve as a major statement to the rest of the NFL.
