SRINAGAR: A man with warrants in 14 criminal cases has been apprehended in Jammu and Kashmir’s Reasi district on Tuesday.
Umer Waseem Ghani, a resident of Bagga village in Mahore tehsil, was placed under the Public Safety Act (PSA) following a police arrest.
District Magistrate Babila Rakhwal subsequently issued a detention order for Ghani. He faced charges in 14 cases spanning Udhampur, Jammu, and Reasi districts in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Kangra and Dharamshala districts in Himachal Pradesh.
