Chiefs Safety Breaks Down How To Stop Dolphins WRs

After the Kansas City Chiefs traded superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins last year, it was uncertain whether the talented wideout could have the same kind of production without fellow superstar Patrick Mahomes throwing him the football each week.

Fortunately for both teams, Hill didn’t miss a beat for the Dolphins and has taken his game up a level since arriving in Miami while getting compared to some of the best receivers of all time, and the Chiefs were able to win another Super Bowl without the speedy wideout downfield.

However, this season, Mahomes would likely do anything to have another weapon alongside Travis Kelce like Hill, but that is beside the point with the Chiefs still winning games, even though it may not be as pretty as it used to be.

On Sunday in Germany, the Chiefs and Dolphins will go head-to-head, with the main storyline being Hill going up against his former team, with safety Justin Reid stirring the pot a bit ahead of the Week 9 matchup overseas detailing how to contain Miami’s talented receivers, via Joe Schad of the Palm Beach Post.

With Reid saying the Chiefs should go with a physical approach to stopping Hill and Jaylen Waddle, it’ll be interesting to see if the defending Super Bowl champions can contain arguably the best wide receiver duo in the NFL on Sunday in Frankfurt.

Hill has been putting up some historic numbers this season while being Tua Tagovailoa’s favorite target downfield, and he’ll be a little more motivated to do something special on Sunday against Andy Reid and company.
