Skip Bayless Says There’s 1 Way Clippers Superteam Can Work

Only a few games into the 2023-24 NBA season, the Los Angeles Clippers decided to make a bold and potentially game-changing move to bring in superstar guard James Harden.

Even though the move was rumored to happen for months, with the Philadelphia 76ers hoping they could get what they wanted in return for the one-time NBA MVP, it didn’t seem possible until it actually happened earlier this week.

Now the Clippers have to figure out how it is going to work with four star players on the roster, with a couple of them having enormous egos, namely Harden and Russell Westbrook.

Many have wondered whether all four of these players would be in the starting lineup for the Clippers, but there’s still no clarity on that front, as some believe it’s time for Westbrook to start coming off the bench as he did with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Skip Bayless of FOX Sports believes that the only way this is going to work for the Clippers is if head coach Tyronn Lue can convince Westbrook that it is in the team’s best interest that he comes off the bench, via The Skip Bayless Show.

This won’t be an easy thing to convince Westbrook of because he still believes that he’s an MVP-caliber player, and that’s not the case anymore, as he’s become more of a liability out there when he shares the floor with other stars.

There’s no doubt that Lue has his hands full with these four players, with no telling which way this thing goes in Los Angeles.
