Stephen A. Smith Makes Surprising Statement About The Cowboys

It’s been almost three decades since the Dallas Cowboys last won a Super Bowl.

They’ve entered every season with high hopes and expectations, constantly boasting plenty of talent on both sides of the field.

Questionable coaching, poor QB play, or even some tough luck have often stood in their way back to the top.

However, despite their long history of shortcomings in crucial times, Stephen A. Smith believes this is finally the day they’re legitimate Super Bowl contenders.

In the latest edition of Get Up, the renowned pundit — and confessed Cowboys hater — admitted that the Cowboys have way too much talent at every position, and while they lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, they could’ve and should’ve won that game and have enough resources to get the job done.

There, fellow co-host and former NFL legend Shannon Sharpe claimed that the Cowboys are just the same-old Cowboys, which is a team that’s going to crumble under pressure despite having all that talent.

Truth be told, it’s been quite a while since the Cowboys proved themselves against a winning team.

They’re always either humiliated or suffering heartbreaking losses to actual Super Bowl contenders, which is why it’s easy to understand why Sharpe has been so skeptical of this team’s ability to get the job done once and for all.

The Cowboys still have more than enough resources to silence the critics.

But after watching them against the San Francisco 49ers the past three years, they will have to do a lot of work to turn the narrative around.
