The 2023-24 NBA regular season has only just gotten underway, with most teams heading toward about 10 games being played at this point in time, which is too small of a sample size to really make an assessment of where things are headed for teams moving forward.

However, some teams in the Western Conference have already started to turn some heads only a few games into the 2023-24 campaign, with some living up to their high expectations and others exceeding expectations.

The defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets and Stephen Curry’s Golden State Warriors are good examples, with Nikola Jokic and company seemingly not missing a beat after dominating the competition last season and the Warriors looking like they might be a title contender once again.

Even though Golden State chose to mix it up in the NBA offseason by trading Jordan Poole for Chris Paul, the move seems to be paying off, with the Warriors playing well in the early going.

Chris Broussard of FOX Sports believes that the Warriors’ championship window might not be closed, via “The Herd.”

With Paul embracing a bench role and the second unit being better than expected, the Warriors have become a dangerous team in the West once again, as it seems as if everything is aligning for another successful season in San Francisco.

The key to success for the Warriors moving forward will be staying healthy, as all their stars are getting up there in age and have had issues in that department.
