When quarterback Kyler Murray returned in Week 10 after tearing his ACL late last season, the Arizona Cardinals finally won their second game of the season by defeating the Atlanta Falcons, 25-23.

But this past Sunday, they lost, 21-16, to the surging Houston Texans, and once again it was clear they don’t have much to play for the rest of this year.

Still, Arizona is hoping to get their third win of 2023 this weekend when they host the Los Angeles Rams, a team that is at a crossroads.

Per Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals have put defensive lineman Leki Fotu and linebacker Kyzir White on their injured reserve list.

Fotu is in his fourth pro season out of the University of Utah, where he was named a second-team All-American as a senior.

The Cardinals took him in the fourth round of the 2020 draft, and in four years he has put up 86 tackles (42 solo), 12 tackles for loss, seven quarterback hits, and 3.5 sacks while starting in 21 of his 55 games.

White is in his first season with the Cardinals after playing for the Philadelphia Eagles last season and the Los Angeles Chargers the previous four years.

In 11 games this year he has 90 tackles (53 solo), nine tackles for loss, three passes defended, and one interception.

White, a fourth-round draft choice in 2018 after two seasons of college football at West Virginia University, has started in all 11 games this season.

After playing the Rams, Arizona will visit the 6-4 Pittsburgh Steelers, and after their ensuing bye week, they will host the 7-3 San Francisco 49ers.
