Former NFL Player Sends A Strong Message About Jake Browning

The Cincinnati Bengals have been through a lot this season.

Their campaign seemed doomed from the start when Joe Burrow suffered a calf injury in training camp, up to the point where people literally begged him to stop playing through the injury, even if that meant missing the playoffs.

And just when he got back to full strength and started playing up to his usual self, he suffered a season-ending wrist injury.

However, former NFL QB Jordan Palmer believes the Bengals’ season isn’t over yet.

Talking on The Rich Eisen Show, the former gunslinger talked about Jake Browning being a much better quarterback than people realize.

He raved about the way he played subbing in for Burrow on the road and vs. a divisional rival, and gave him props for staying calm and poised against the Baltimore Ravens’ elite defense.

He also talked about Browning being great in college, lauding his awareness of the pocket, and his touch on the back shoulder.

Even so, making the playoffs seems almost impossible for the Bengals at this point.

They’re currently sitting at the bottom of the AFC North division, and they’re not better than any of the three teams above them without Burrow on the field.
