The Miami Dolphins added their eighth win of the 2023 NFL season when they marched to MetLife Stadium and demolished the New York Jets, 34-13.

The Dolphins didn’t have much trouble dispatching the Jets as the offense and defense both scored to make it a stress-free win.

Tim Boyle drew the start for Zach Wilson and he was the Miami defense’s best friend as he gave them ample opportunities to sack him and turn the ball over.

Jevon Holland gave the Dolphins complete control of the afternoon right before the first half ended as he was able to run back an interception for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Boyle didn’t look any better than Wilson who has come under fire as of late, though perhaps it’s time for the Jets to start looking at the rest of the roster and the coaching staff.

After the game, Holland added insult to injury when he was blunt when asked about the turf at the stadium, via Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.

MetLife Stadium’s turf has been criticized by both players and media analysts for its poor conditions, especially because several people have suffered serious injuries playing there, including Dolphins defender Jaelan Phillips on Friday.

The NFL has started to take steps to ensure fields are up to playing standard, though MetLife still has a ways to go before players can feel comfortable playing there.

However, New York has more important things to worry about as their season is basically over.

The Jets have several difficult questions to answer in the offseason and it could mean that changes besides the turf are on the horizon.
