As is typically the case during almost every NFL season, the 2023 campaign has been full of notable players suffering injuries that have caused them to miss a significant amount of time.

Recency bias might make it seem like there are more injuries around the league this year, but the violent nature of the sport just makes injuries an unavoidable part of each and every NFL season.

Multiple teams have lost their starting quarterback to a season-ending injury this year, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter recently revealed on Twitter that a starting NFL signal-caller has suffered a season-ending injury in each of the last four weeks.

During the last few weeks, the Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants, Cleveland Browns, and Cincinnati Bengals have all lost their starting quarterback to a season-ending injury.

Before this, we already saw the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts lose their starting signal-callers to injuries that knocked them out for the entire 2023 campaign.

The Vikings, Browns, and Colts have all been able to deal with the adversity well, and all three are currently still in the hunt for a playoff spot this season.

However, the Week 1 injury to quarterback Aaron Rodgers immediately threw the Jets’ plans for the 2023 campaign into a downward spiral, and they are trending towards being on the outside looking in when the postseason begins in January.

The Giants weren’t performing very well when quarterback Daniel Jones was on the field, so not much has changed since his season-ending injury.

As for the Bengals, the jury is still out for them since they just lost Joe Burrow to a season-ending injury during their last appearance out on the field.
