Bulls Star Shares Frustration About Team’s Record

The Chicago Bulls entered the NBA season with a lot to prove.

Following some disappointing seasons, it seemed like this core had reached its boiling point, up to the point where they even held a players-only meeting just one game into the campaign.

Fast forward to today, and they’re 5-13 and struggling mightily on both ends of the floor.

When asked about that, Zach LaVine admitted to being shocked and frustrated, stating that they never expected to be in this position at this point in the year, adding that they need to figure out a way to dig themselves out of this hole (via Michael Scotto).

Truth be told, it seems like this Bulls team has given up already.

Their body language is off, their effort — or lack thereof — has left a lot to be desired more often than not, and they can’t seem to close games out.

LaVine has been tangled up in multiple trade rumors for years now, and he even seems willing to accept his fate and move on.

Coach Billy Donovan doesn’t seem to be in control of the locker room, and he’s also failed to make some lineup tweaks to stop the bleeding once they get off to slow starts.

There’s still a lot of basketball left, and the Bulls do have some good players who could turn things around.

Even so, the question right now is whether they still have it in them even to try it, or if the front office will break things up before they try to do it.
