Colin Cowherd Defends Polarizing NFL HC

The Dallas Cowboys entered the season with high hopes and expectations, as they usually do.

They have one of the best records in the league, and they’ve been fairly dominant in their wins.

However, some are still skeptical about them, either because of Dak Prescott, Mike McCarthy, or both.

That’s why Colin Cowherd used some time on his show to defend both characters.

For starters, he stated that even though Prescott isn’t an elite quarterback and he’s been critical of him, he’s having the best year of his career despite not having a clear RB1, a good offensive line, or a lot of production form his tight end or any wide receiver not named CeeDee Lamb.

He also stated that people criticize McCarthy for his late-game decision-making, yet they used to say the same about Andy Reid, not to mention the fact that John Harbaugh, Kyle Shanahan, and Sean McVay also struggle in that regard.

Cowherd said that Prescott and Aaron Rodgers have had the best years of their careers with McCarthy, so perhaps he’s not as bad as people say.

You may or may not be a fan of the Cowboys, but they’re playing very good football and have crushed the teams they were supposed to crush.

They still need to prove themselves against the actual Super Bowl contenders, but after watching other so-called contenders struggle against the best as well, perhaps it’s time we give the Cowboys the benefit of the doubt once and for all.
