Jason Kelce Urges The NFL To Fine Bills Player

The Philadelphia Eagles and Buffalo Bills played one of the best games of the NFL season this past weekend.

It was a back-and-forth battle with plenty of scoring and big plays.

But, one play that remains controversial is the “tush push.”

It is a play the Eagles use in every game, and opposing teams have not found a way to stop it.

Whenever the Eagles need one yard, you can guarantee that is the play they will go to.

But Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillips was hoping to stop it this past week.

He knew the play was coming and plowed through the offensive line before the snap.

Eagles center Jason Kelce was not happy about that from Phillips and even called it a “dirty” play.

According to WIP Morning Show via Ari Meirov, Kelce said: “He purposely tried to hurt Cam Jurgens.”

That is a bold proclamation from Kelce, accusing another player of intentionally trying to hurt someone.

There is no way to know for sure what Phillips’ intentions were, other than trying to stop the QB sneak.

No team has found a successful way to stop that play.

Which is why it looked like Phillips was trying to time the snap perfectly so he could get into the backfield.

It was an unfortunate play and luckily no one was injured.

But, that does not mean Phillips was intentionally trying to hurt anyone.

It will be interesting to see if the NFL decides to fine Phillips as Kelce is hoping they do.
