The Los Angeles Clippers may have finally pulled off a win that can get them out of their funk after they overcame a 22-point deficit against the Golden State Warriors.

Trailing most of the day, the Clippers were able to sink the Warriors after Paul George nailed the game-winning 3-pointer in a thrilling performance.

It’s been a rough 2023-24 season for Los Angeles as they’re currently out of the playoff picture despite assembling a “Big 4″ of Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and George.

Despite their collective star power, the four Southern California natives haven’t been able to string together many wins which has the fanbase questioning whether or not this team is good enough to compete for a title.

Head coach Tyronn Lue has been candid about the experience so far and admitted that it’s been a difficult challenge.

However, he emphasized how much he enjoys the roster and remains determined to figure things out via Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.

“It’s been pretty hard. But I’m built for it. I love this team… It’s my job as well as our 4 guys to figure it out,” Lue said.

Lue isn’t one to mince words and it’s refreshing to hear a head coach admit that not everything is rosy behind the scenes.

With the Western Conference looking as competitive as ever, it’ll be hard for the Clippers to crack the playoffs though they’ve at least got the coaching and talent in place to threaten a spot.

For now, though, Lue will have his work cut out for him as he continues to tinker and find ways to maximize the players on the roster.
