Former Player Names Suns Star The Best Player In The League

Every single year in the NBA, there’s a debate over which player in the league is the best of the best, with seemingly a different answer from year to year or at least a lot of debate for some of the elite players in the NBA.

One player who has always been in the conversation for being the best player in the league going back to his days with the Oklahoma City Thunder is superstar forward Kevin Durant, who recently cracked the top 10 of the NBA’s all-time scoring list.

Unfortunately for Durant, the injuries he suffered at the end of his stint with the Golden State Warriors have really hurt his chances of being in the best-player-in-the-league conversation for a few years now.

However, Durant has played well in his short time with the Phoenix Suns thus far and might be starting to sneak into the conversation for being the league’s best player.

Former NBA star Rasheed Wallace recently made his case for Durant being the best player in the NBA during an appearance on the “Gil’s Arena” show because he believes the game is just so simple for him, via ClutchPoints.

Over the last few years, big-name players like Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, and Joel Embiid have been the main players in the discussion for being the league’s best player, with the Denver Nuggets superstar currently having the edge after winning his first NBA title last season.

Everyone seems to have a different opinion when it comes to this debate, and that will likely continue for the foreseeable future, but Durant isn’t a bad choice, especially if he leads the Suns to the franchise’s first title this year.
