SRINAGAR: A 25-year-old non-local was discovered deceased in a rented accommodation in Anantnag district.
An official informed news agency KS that Raj Bahadur, son of Shankar Lal, a resident of Jalali Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh, was found dead in his rented accommodation owned by a resident near Thak Boni, Anantnag.
“Initial investigations suggest that the deceased person had been suffering from epilepsy for an extended period,” the official stated, adding “The incident is not in any way linked to terrorism.”
The body has been transported to a nearby hospital for necessary medical procedures, according to officials.
A police official from Kashmir Scroll confirmed that a case has been registered under section 174 CRPF for further proceedings in this matter. (KS)
