With about two months to go before the NBA trade deadline, there has been some buzz about which players may be available on the market and which teams could be holding a fire sale.

The Chicago Bulls are the one team that has been most talked about, as they’re 8-14 and have two or three players that should attract plenty of interest.

But another team that could be in the market to sell is the Toronto Raptors, who are 9-12 despite possessing some ample talent.

Per TSN, insider Shams Charania said that teams are keeping an eye on the Raptors and that their two main trade chips are forward Pascal Siakam and wing OG Anunoby.

Siakam is in the last year of his contract while Anunoby can opt out of his contract this summer, and if Toronto cannot come to terms with either of them on a new deal, they would want to trade them and get something in return for them.

Siakam is a player who could help a number of teams take a big step forward — he’s averaging 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists a game this season.

Anunoby is a 3-and-D wing who could do the same, as he’s putting up 15.1 points a game and is just 26 years of age.

Both played for the Raptors when they won the NBA championship during the 2018-19 season, and thus they could also provide invaluable experience for a team that hasn’t gone all the way yet.

Charania indicated that Toronto may be open to trading other players and that their only real untouchable is forward Scottie Barnes, who may be their best player right now.
