Odell Beckham Jr. Makes Surprising Admission About His Touchdown Against Rams

After a poor start to his stint with the Baltimore Ravens due to injuries and inconsistent play, veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. has started to come on strong and be a game-changer for one of the best offenses in the NFL this season.

On Sunday against the visiting Los Angeles Rams, Beckham had a team-high 97 yards and a touchdown on four receptions, which is one of his best performances of the season, if not the best.

One of the main reasons for Beckham’s big day was the 46-yard touchdown that he caught in the second quarter.

After the game, Beckham admitted that on that big play, he actually ran the wrong route when trying to get open for superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson, according to Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic

Wrong route or not, Beckham still got the job done and was pivotal to the team coming out on top in overtime against the Rams, who weren’t backing down an inch to arguably the best team in the AFC.

On the season, Beckham has caught 57 passes for 507 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns.

These are not the kind of numbers Beckham was hoping for when he signed with the Ravens during the offseason, as he likely thought he’d be able to crack the 100-yard mark each week while catching a touchdown pass or two each week.

With the Ravens getting their 10th win of the season, they sit comfortably atop the AFC North division standings but can’t take the final four opponents lightly, with the Cleveland Browns just waiting for their division rivals to slip.
