Analyst Calls Out Sean Payton For ‘Embarrassing’ Russell Wilson

The Denver Broncos have every right to feel like they’re ready to move on from Russell Wilson.

They gambled, and they lost; it happens.

Time to turn the page.

However, the way they’ve dealt with the entire situation has left a lot to be desired.

The Broncos are making Wilson their scapegoat, and they’re not giving him an ounce of respect by keeping him benched in the final two games of the season.

That’s why NFL analyst Craig Carton ripped HC Sean Payton for the way he’s humiliating Wilson right now.

Talking on The Carton Show, the pundit stated that Payton dislikes Wilson on levels we had never seen before, which is why he’s going to make him dress for two games in which he has no intention whatsoever of making him play, not even if Jarrett Stidham gets hurt.

That’s going to put all the cameras and all the media attention on him, and that’s not fair to an accomplished professional in the National Football League, especially considering the fact that he’s never taken shots at anybody or tried to do anybody wrong, at least to public knowledge.

Carton believes what Payton is doing is so wrong that free agents should keep notes and avoid playing for him, adding that Payton is playing with another man’s money, and that’s just wrong.

Truth be told, Wilson doesn’t deserve this kind of treatment, even if he doesn’t have it anymore, and a well-seasoned coach like Sean Payton should’ve done a lot better than this.
