SRINAGAR: Additional Sessions Court Handwara issued a “proclamation notice” against fifty-one individuals wanted in a case dating back to 2011.
SHO of Police Station Kralgund, sought the proclamation against the accused persons in FIR 73/2011, as they were allegedly involved in offenses under the 2/3 EMICO Act and 121-A RPC.
Despite a non-bailable warrant issued by the court of CJM Handwara to compel the attendance of the accused persons, the warrant could not be executed because the accused individuals could not be located.
Consequently, the Court has now issued a Proclamation against the fifty-one accused and has directed them to appear in court by or before February 2, 2024.
