The Chicago Bulls have fared a little better over the past couple of weeks, but there’s absolutely no doubt that they’re going to have a tough time competing for the playoffs.
They’re likely going to be sellers ahead of the trade deadline, and with Zach LaVine getting into several run-ins with coach Billy Donovan and openly expressing his frustration with the team’s direction, he’s the most obvious trade candidate.
With that in mind, NBA insider Joe Cowley reveals that the Golden State Warriors and Sacramento Kings could be two teams to watch in the LaVine sweepstakes (via NBA Central).
The Sacramento Kings and Golden State Warriors are two teams to monitor on the Zach LaVine trade market, per @JCowleyHoops

Cowley states that both teams have struggled with inconsistency and poor roster decisions, which is why they could look to bolster their current squad to make a deep postseason run.
LaVine just came back after missing several weeks with a foot injury, and his health has been a matter of concern for quite a while now.
The biggest issue in any potential LaVine trade is his contract.
He’s getting top-dollar despite not being an elite player, and he wouldn’t be the primary scorer on any of those teams.
Both the Kings and Warriors have been kind of underwhelming this season, but they also both have more than enough talent to turn things around and get hot ahead of the postseason.
LaVine could bring more scoring to the table, and while his defense is questionable, it’s hard to see him making those teams worse, not better.
We’ll have to keep an eye on this story.
