With the College Football Championship already in the books and the NFL Draft order also being set, it’s officially time to update mock drafts almost by the hour.

Nonetheless, as much as some things could change from now until draft day, some selections should already be set in stone.

For instance, people have raved about USC star QB Caleb Williams for years now, and he looks like a lock to be taken with the first-overall selection.

With that in mind, ESPN NFL Draft specialist Mel Kiper Jr. shared his top-five QBs and believes the Bears should trade Justin Fields and draft Caleb Williams (Via Get Up).

This seems like the most realistic scenario right now.

Fields showed glimpses of greatness, but Williams is younger, cheaper, and has a significantly higher upside than him, not to mention the fact that the Bears could get a decent value in return for their current QB1.

Kiper also believes Drake Maye out of UNC is the 2nd best quarterback.

At No.4, we find LSU standout Jayden Daniels.

Then, at No. 10, he has Washington veteran Michael Penix Jr.

Last but not least, Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy could fall all the way to 23.
