There are multiple stars in the NBA worthy of their very own TV shows and now they are getting one.

According to Shams Charania, via Legion Hoops, the NBA is partnering with Netflix on a new documentary series that will be a lot like the NFL’s “Quarterback” show.

LeBron James, Jayson Tatum, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Edwards, and Domantas Sabonis will be the focus of the show’s first season.

The NFL’s “Quarterback” followed three NFL icons during games and in their personal lives.

It’s likely that this upcoming series will document the tough world of the NBA as well as the home lives of these stars.

The league and Netflix really aimed for the best of the best with this cast of stars.

James, Tatum, Butler, Edwards, and Sabonis are a few of the biggest players in the league and they also provide different perspectives that viewers may love.

James is entering the final years of his career, while Tatum and Edwards are seen as the up-and-comers in the league.

As for Butler and Sabonis, they are two seasoned veterans who have seen a lot throughout their careers and are hoping to carry their teams far into the playoffs.

The league couldn’t have picked much better stars than these five.

Netflix hasn’t announced a release date for the series and it’s not entirely clear if the show is being filmed right now.

Hopefully, fans won’t have to wait until next season to see what Netflix is producing and instead get a great behind-the-scenes look at the wild and exciting 2023-24 season.

If this show is a big success, NBA followers can expect many more seasons.
