The Los Angeles Lakers and Phoenix Suns faced off Thursday night in what was slated to be a highly anticipated matchup.
Both teams have some of the NBA’s most potent superstars, a significant reason for this anticipation heading into the game.
However, the Suns blew out the Lakers, a surprising result for many fans and analysts, including Skip Bayless.
Bayless took to Twitter to express his thoughts, demonstrating his frustration towards the Lakers.
He called this game “inconceivable,” mainly because LeBron James and Anthony Davis failed to show up.
It is just inconceivable both LeBron James & Anthony Davis would fail to show up vs Kevin Durant & Devin Booker & Bradley Beal. Bron & AD just weren’t into it tonight and their Lakers got blown out at home. They won the Cup, beat the Clippers & OKC but tonite, no showed.

With the Suns having Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Devin Booker on their roster, Bayless figured the Lakers would have played better.
James and Davis combined for 23 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists.
This was far below the projections for these two players, making for a disappointing night.
While one game is not necessarily a sign of panic for the rest of the season, it concerned Bayless.
For the Lakers to succeed this season, they need Davis and James to step up in moments like these.
Otherwise, it could be a tough year if their role players cannot fill in the gaps.
Fans will be interested to see how the team bounces back from this loss and what the Lakers’ attitude will be in the coming days.
They don’t have too long to wait, as their next matchup is a Saturday night game against the Utah Jazz.
