The Golden State Warriors are going through their worst season in several years, and the outlook for them moving forward isn’t exactly hopeful.
While Draymond Green is set to return soon after his indefinite suspension, Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins are struggling with their shooting, and now Stephen Curry, who had been playing at his usual otherworldly level, has leveled off.
More bad news has come, as guard Moses Moody will miss their four-game road trip that starts on Friday versus the Chicago Bulls, and per Kerith Burke, head coach Steve Kerr said it’s a “huge loss.”
Kerr says Moses Moody is out for the road trip with a strained calf. “Huge loss,” Kerr said.

The Warriors are just 17-20 entering Friday’s contest, and if the regular season ended today, they would not participate in the play-in tournament.
They have gradually fallen from grace following their most recent NBA championship, which came just 17 months ago, and this fall could become even worse as time goes by.
Thompson is clearly a shell of his old self following his ACL and Achilles injuries a few years ago, and he was such a key to their four world titles, not only because of his elite shooting but also because he was an excellent defender.
Golden State traded guard Jordan Poole, a key member of that 2022 championship team, for 38-year-old Chris Paul last summer, and while Paul has given them another legitimate playmaker, he’s shooting just 42.4 percent from the field.
Warriors fans shouldn’t hold their breath waiting for a big trade to save the team, because it looks like its success has simply run its course.
