After 24 years and six Super Bowl titles won with the New England Patriots, head coach Bill Belichick and the storied NFL franchise have agreed to part ways, which has led to a lot of speculation as to where the legendary coach will land during the offseason.

As expected, there’s no shortage of interest in Belichick’s services, as a number of teams are expected to reach out and express their interest in the future Hall of Famer.

However, the Atlanta Falcons, who recently fired head coach Arthur Smith, appear to be emerging as the favorite to be Belichick’s next team.

Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski is hearing that the Falcons brass will be going hard after Belichick during the offseason, as he said on NFL on FOX via FOX Sports: NFL.

At this point, there’s no telling what Belichick will do or how long he may take to start doing interviews with interested teams, but things should ramp up, with a lot of free-agent coaches around the league interviewing for jobs on a daily basis.

The Los Angeles Chargers were also thought to be an interested team, with the franchise looking to replace Brandon Staley, who they fired during the regular season after an embarrassing loss to the division-rival Las Vegas Raiders.

The Falcons will have their fair share of competition to hire Belichick, and there’s no doubt he will come at a high price after what he accomplished with the Patriots becoming arguably the greatest head coach in the history of the league.
