Heading into the NFL playoffs, the Dallas Cowboys were expected to be one of the best teams in the league and a team that could potentially go the distance with star quarterback Dak Prescott leading the way under center.

The Cowboys were thought to have gotten lucky with a first-round matchup against the seventh-seeded Green Bay Packers, who barely got into the postseason with an impressive late-season push to clinch a playoff berth in the NFC.

Even though the Cowboys had a potent offense and a lockdown defense, the Packers shredded Jerry Jones’ team early and often on Sunday afternoon, as Jordan Love and company came to play and outscored Dallas 27-7 in the first half.

Things got so bad and embarrassing for the second-seeded Cowboys that Jones couldn’t help but show his frustration while in the owner’s suite at AT&T Stadium, via Dov Kleiman.

Coming into this playoff matchup, the Cowboys were heavily favored, with no one expecting much from the young and inexperienced Packers.

However, that was far from the case, with Love outplaying Prescott from start to finish, as Dallas looked like the underdog on Sunday while Green Bay looked as prepared for this playoff game as any team in the league.

Unfortunately for Dallas, this was a statement game for Love, who proved a lot of people wrong this season and may have put the icing on the cake with this incredible performance against the Cowboys.

With the loss to the Packers, the Cowboys have a lot of questions to answer during the offseason, including whether Prescott and Mike McCarthy are the right men for the job.
