Packers List 15 Players On Today’s Injury Report

Date:

Coming into the NFL playoffs, the Green Bay Packers were a long-shot at best to advance to the second round of the postseason, with Jordan Love and company having to get through the second-seeded Dallas Cowboys on the road at AT&T Stadium.

Despite the incredibly tall task of taking down the Cowboys on their home field, where they had yet to be defeated this season (8-0), the Packers were able to put on a show on the road against America’s Team while proving to their doubters that they may be a much better team than anticipated.

After destroying Dallas on the road, Green Bay is dealing with numerous injuries to players on both sides of the football heading into their second-round playoff matchup against the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers on Saturday at Levi’s Stadium.

Even before the Cowboys game, Green Bay was banged up and looking shaky in terms of which players would be able to make an impact in the game.

According to Wes Hodkiewicz of Packers.com, the team currently has 15 players on the injury report.

There are some notable names on this list of players dealing with injuries for the Packers, with Jaire Alexander (shoulder/ankle), AJ Dillon (thumb/neck), Rashan Gary (knee), Aaron Jones (knee/finger), and Christian Watson (hamstring) being among the most prominent.

If the Packers have any chance of getting the best of the 49ers on the road at Levi’s Stadium, this team will need to be as close to 100% as possible, as San Francisco is a tough team with no intention of ending their season this weekend.
