After enjoying a week off after locking up the No. 1 seed in the AFC and getting a first-round bye, the Baltimore Ravens will get back to work on Saturday when the team hosts the upstart Houston Texans at M&T Bank Stadium.
Along with having an extra week to get healthy and prepared for their first game in the NFL playoffs, the team was able to bring in veteran running back Dalvin Cook and received some good news about star tight end Mark Andrews.
The season was thought to be lost for Andrews due to an ankle injury that put him on injured reserve, but recently, news surfaced that he might be able to get back on the field for the playoffs and face the Texans on Saturday.
Unfortunately for Baltimore, that is no longer the case, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, as the team did not activate him for this weekend’s game but did activate wide receiver Devin Duvernay and defensive back Ar’Darius Washington.
The #Ravens have activated WR Devin Duvernay and DB Ar’Darius Washington off IR and both should play against the #Texans. No activation for Mark Andrews. Next week.

Even without Andrews on the field, Baltimore has been an offensive juggernaut with superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson playing like the NFL MVP and wide receivers Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham Jr. having solid seasons for the team.
However, the team is obviously that much better when Andrews is healthy and an option in the passing game, which will now have to wait until the AFC Championship Game if Baltimore is able to get by a young and hungry squad led by rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud.
