After parting ways with Arthur Smith immediately after the season came to an end, the Atlanta Falcons appear to have one of the more desirable head coaching vacancies in the NFL right now, as the team has drawn a lot of interest from some of the biggest names available on the open market.
Once Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots agreed to part ways last week, the legendary head coach seemed like the favorite to land the coaching job in Atlanta, but now it’s anyone’s guess as to what the team is doing during their decision process.
Along with interviewing Belichick twice, it appears the Falcons are bringing in Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh for a second interview, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
The #Falcons are scheduling a second interview with Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh for next week, per sources.

As if this isn’t confusing enough, the Falcons are reportedly set to interview former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel next week, which means the team is either doing its due diligence or really has no idea which way to go in their coaching search.
Vrabel, Belichick, and Harbaugh are the three biggest names on the open market right now, with each head coach considered to be one of the best in the business and a big win for a team looking to hire a leader on the sideline.
It’ll be interesting to see how all this pans out and which of these three the Falcons end up with or if the team goes in a different direction altogether because Atlanta is anything but predictable at this point in the hiring process.
