The Buffalo Bills head into a pivotal playoff match against the Kansas City Chiefs at home on Sunday with an AFC title game appearance on the line.

The legacy of quarterback Josh Allen will either take another hit or be elevated depending on how he and his team play against Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.

But as the game approaches, the Bills added two players from their practice squad to the active roster and released another.

Buffalo elevated linebacker A.J. Klein and wide receiver Andy Isabella from the practice squad and released punter Matt Haack.

Klein has been on and off the Bills practice squad all year but will join the active roster after the Bills ruled out linebacker Baylon Spector and might not have Terrel Bernard, who is questionable with an ankle injury.

Isabella is a veteran pass-catcher who could fill in with Gabe Davis out for a second consecutive game.

The release of Haack means that starting punter Sam Martin should be fully recovered from a hamstring injury.

The Bills are facing the Chiefs for the second time this season after Buffalo won a close, albeit controversial, match but have failed to beat Kansas City in their previous playoff games.

The Chiefs bounced the Bills from the playoffs twice since 2020, but this is a different Bills team that’s battled through plenty of adversity this season before they went on a tear to end the year and take the AFC East crown.
