After playing a game in Las Vegas, Nevada, and two games in Abu Dabi, Team USA has set up shop in London, England, for their last two exhibition games before heading into the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France, next week.

Although Australia gave the Americans a bit of a scare last week, as Josh Giddey and company only lost by six points, Team USA has dominated the competition thus far, making easy work of Canada and Serbia, which were thought to be two teams that might give them some trouble.

That said, Team USA has turned a lot of heads because the squad seems back to form and ready to win gold once again on the international stage, with some of the legends in the league leading the way, like Kevin Durant, LeBron James and Stephen Curry.

Although Anthony Edwards and Anthony Davis have gotten their share of the headlines, with the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar speaking his mind and the Los Angeles Lakers veteran being arguably the best player on the team right now, Curry and James playing together have drawn the attention of ESPN’s Brian Windhorst via NBA on ESPN.

“You cannot help yourself but watch the Steph Curry-LeBron James connection,” Windhorst said.

With Curry getting the best of James’ Cleveland Cavaliers three times in the NBA Finals, with the current Lakers superstar only beating him once while in Cleveland, there’s bound to be a little tension between the two and a rivalry.

Even though it seems more like Jerry West and the Boston Celtics in terms of a rivalry, with James rarely having any success against Curry’s squad, there’s still likely some resentment and bitterness from the future Hall of Famer.

However, these two seem inseparable while playing on Team USA this summer, which is a cool thing to see for basketball fans in general.
