The New York Giants are going to be a huge question mark during the 2024 NFL season as the franchise needs to make a decision on it’s quarterback situation.

Daniel Jones is coming off a knee injury that cost him the second half of the 2023 NFL campaign but is on track to be ready for training camp and 2024.

The Giants surprisingly didn’t draft a quarterback or sign one in free agency, meaning that Jones has at least one more year as the starter under head coach Brian Daboll.

While Jones has shown flashes in past years of being a quality option at quarterback, his inconsistency and injury history now make him a risky proposition.

New York was featured on Max’s “Hard Knocks” series and they were painted in an optimistic light though Robert Griffin III came away with the impression that the team still has no idea what to do about Jones via his personal Twitter account.

“The Giants did the offseason Hard Knocks and this was my main takeaway. They paid Daniel Jones $40 Million Dollars a year, lost the identity of their offense by mismanaging the Saquon Barkley situation and still don’t know if Daniel Jones is their QB of the Future. D***,” Griffin tweeted.

Handing Jones a lucrative deal and letting star running back Saquon Barkley walk to their NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles was a head-scratching move.

Now, Jones will need to prove that he’s the franchise’s long-term answer this year or he could quickly find himself cut from the roster.
