Broncos Place 3 Players On PUP List

Date:

The Denver Broncos are a storied NFL franchise that is in the middle of a bit of a transition period, with the team hoping to turn things around with one-time Super Bowl champion head coach Sean Payton at the helm and Russell Wilson now playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Although there’s no telling what the immediate future holds for the Broncos, as it could be another disappointing season ahead for Denver, there’s a chance the franchise can bounce back quickly, as they have a new potential franchise player under center in rookie quarterback Bo Nix and seem confident that 2024 will be a step forward rather than two steps back.

As of right now, all the attention is on Nix and whether the Oregon product can live up to expectations of being a first-round draft pick on a team known for having some of the best quarterbacks in league history, namely John Elway and Peyton Manning.

According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, the Broncos put Drew Sanders, Caden Stearns and Delarrin Turner-Yell on the PUP list to start training camp.

Fortunately for Denver, no real game-changers were put on the team’s PUP list, which is a great sign moving forward, as every team wants to start training camp with their stars healthy and ready to go.

On September 8, the Broncos will get their regular season underway, as they will hit the road to take on the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field, where they are already considered five-point underdogs.
