Chiefs WR Shows Off One-Handed Catch In Practice

Throughout the 2023 NFL regular season, the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs didn’t seem to be the same team offensively, as superstar tight end Travis Kelce started to look like Father Time was catching up to him, and the receiving corps was sorely lacking, making the offense lackluster, to say the least.

Obviously, in the end, it didn’t matter all that much that the Chiefs’ passing game wasn’t as potent as it has been in recent years with superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes under center, as Kansas City still went on to win a second consecutive title.

Despite the Chiefs being able to get by without a high-powered passing attack, Kansas City was determined to upgrade the wide receiver position this NFL offseason, and that’s precisely what the team was able to do with two key additions to the squad.

Along with drafting the fastest player in the 2024 NFL Draft, Xavier Worthy, out of the University of Texas, with the No. 28 overall pick, Kansas City signed one of the best wide receivers available on the open market, Marquise Brown.

The former Arizona Cardinals star seems like the ideal addition for the Chiefs at wide receiver, and he showed some flashes of what he can do to start training camp with an incredible one-handed grab via Brad Henson Productions.

Brown gets a considerable upgrade at the quarterback position, going from the often-injured Kyler Murray to a three-time Super Bowl champion who is motivated to win another Vince Lombardi Trophy this upcoming season.

It’ll be interesting to see how Brown and Mahomes’s chemistry develops, but it already looks like it is off to a good start.
