Jalen Brunson Links Up With MLB Star

A few years ago, guard Jalen Brunson chose to leave Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks to sign with the New York Knicks in NBA free agency, which is a move that many believed was risky for the franchise and odd for the up-and-comer after making a name for himself in Texas.

Ultimately, the move paid off for the Knicks, as Brunson went from a talented guard with a promising future to a bonafide superstar and a household name in the NBA and the Big Apple, which is no easy task, to say the least.

Brunson has only gotten better and better over the course of his time with the Knicks as he helped lead the storied franchise to a Game 7 in the second round of the NBA playoffs despite falling short of making the Eastern Conference Finals to take on the eventual NBA champion Boston Celtics.

As a legitimate superstar in the biggest market in this country, Brunson recently became even more popular in New York as he elected to take less in his contract extension with the Knicks in order to give the team flexibility in the years to come to build a title contender in the East.

On Wednesday, Brunson met another superstar in his city, with the face of the Knicks meeting the face of the New York Yankees in slugger Aaron Judge via Knicks Videos.

As arguably the two biggest stars in the city, Brunson and Judge own New York right now, and they will back these two superstars no matter what.

With the Knicks pulling out all the stops this offseason, it’ll be interesting to see how far this team can go next season with Mikal Bridges now added to the mix.
