SRINAGAR: In an interesting development, the Faculty of Forestry at the Benhama-Watlar Campus of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir (SKUAST-K) has been accredited with Grade A++ by the Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE), Dehradun. This accreditation is valid for the next five years, beginning on July 26, 2024, and highlights the faculty’s excellence in forestry education and research, the Faculty said in a statement.
Dean Professor Sajad Ahmad Gangoo expressed immense pride in this recognition, attributing the accolade to the unwavering commitment, dedication, and sincerity of the faculty members. The university’s Vice-Chancellor, along with Directors, Deans, and all faculty members, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Faculty of Forestry for this significant accomplishment.
