The NFL season is just around the corner, so it’s officially time to fire off hot takes and predictions.

Judging by what we’ve seen in recent years and the moves some teams made ahead of this season, we can already start forming opinions about what needs to happen next season.

With that in mind, NFL analyst Michelle Smallmon put together her list of the top five players under the most pressure ahead of the upcoming campaign (via UNSPORTSMANLIKE Radio).

At No. 5, she has Russell Wilson, which makes perfect sense.

Now with the Pittsburgh Steelers, the former Super Bowl champion must prove that he’s not done in this league, and this might be his final chance to remain a starter.

Then, she chose Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson.

Watson got a fully guaranteed contract as soon as he arrived in Ohio, and he has yet to pay the team back with his production on the field.

She then has Stefon Diggs at No. 3.

The Houston Texans made a big gamble by reworking his contract, and this will be essentially a contract year for him, who’s been deemed a troublemaker.

Then, she listed Aaron Rodgers at No. 2.

The future Hall of Famer has only won one Super Bowl and the clock is ticking on him, also with him skipping minicamp and the New York Jets being a contender, he has to prove the media wrong.

Last but not least, she chose Lamar Jackson.

The Baltimore Ravens star has dominated in the regular season, but he has yet to dominate in the playoffs, and it’s time to change the narrative once and for all.
