With the NFL preseason now underway and every team in the league looking to put together the best roster possible ahead of Week 1, a lot of moves are made from now until the start of the regular season, which includes signing, releases and at times, trades.

Heading into the 2024 NFL season, the Cleveland Browns want to capitalize on a solid 2023 campaign in which the team defied the odds and made it to the NFL playoffs even after losing stars Deshaun Watson and Nick Chubb early in the season.

There’s a decent chance that the Browns are in a championship window in Cleveland, and in order to make sure they can be legitimate Super Bowl contenders in the 2024 season, they need to stay healthy and prepare for unfortunate injuries at key positions.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, it appears the team has made an effort to secure the offensive line, as Cleveland has reportedly made a trade with the Seattle Seahawks to acquire center Nick Harris.

Ironically enough, Harris signed with the Seahawks during the NFL offseason and was preparing to help protect veteran quarterback Geno Smith in Seattle, but played the last three seasons in Cleveland, making this trade a reunion.

Harris played in 17 games last season and started in two of those games, and although he’s not a game-changer that is going to make headlines, he obviously left an impression on the Browns organization, making the franchise want to trade for him to play the 2024 NFL season.
