Eagles Announce 3 Roster Moves

The Philadelphia Eagles won’t sleep on their laurels.

They know just how much is at stake next season.

As such, they keep making moves to make sure to be at their best for when it matters the most.

With that in mind, the team has decided to waive defensive back Mekhi Garner.

They also placed cornerback Tyler Hall on the Reserve/Injured list.

They made those moves to make room for tackle Gottlieb Ayedze.

This is his second stint with Nick Sirianni’s team, as he was signed as an undrafted free agent and even began training camp with them before being waived late in July.

Clearly, the coaching staff liked what he saw from him and is now looking forward to giving him another chance to impress.

This will be a make-or-break campaign for the Eagles.

They weren’t able to keep that momentum going after an impressive start to last season and a trip to the Super Bowl in the prior campaign, and coach Sirianni’s seat is reportedly heating up ahead of the start of the season.

The Eagles know bouncing back won’t be easy at all, but they have more than enough talent on their roster to get this done.

The margin for error has gone pretty close to zero after such a disappointing end to last year.

Ayedze will have his work cut out for him to try to make the roster.

Hopefully, he’ll give them the kind of effort they need to get back to the mountaintop.
